A last minute decision to explore some lanes in the lakes was made. Armed with some lanes sent over by the Cumbria Glass rep it turned out a nice hot day, but half the Lake District decided to go rambling! We smiled and were polite to every rambler-walker-cyclist we met, if only we got the same in return....
The day was going well until the hand brake started sticking on again and the alternator packed up about 11am! But carried on anyway and had a good scenic days laning. We forgot our camera and had two flat mobile phones so all pics are courtesy of Tony and Debbie’s cameras.
